O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum!

Our first Christmas tree is now up in the new house. We were very fortunate to get a very wide, tall and rather perfectly shaped tree – even though when we bought it, it was wrapped up like an Egyptian mummy, and you have no idea what you are going to get. There is a picture of it at the bottom of this blog entry. It is starting to look and smell like Christmas in here now! We also started our five year outdoor lighting project. This year we changed the outdoor flood lights and porch lights to green and blue, and put up a string of blue LED lights around the window of the porch - years two to five will see more lights every year... around the eaves, the tree out front, deer in the snow ... I won't stop until there are MORE LIGHTS!!

Due to an overwhelmingly busy Christmas concert season we unfortunately won’t get a chance to do cards this year, so we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours the most blessed Christmas, and safe and prosperous New Year.

Love, John and Kathleen.

very pretty tree indeed, and (for the moment) no little cat faces peeking out thro' the foliage... enjoy!
