Cake! (Yum)

Yesterday after work, we sat down with the lady (Mary) who is going to be making our wedding cake. What fun! We quite like the idea of walking in to our reception hall and seeing what she's done with the cake for the first time, so we left most of the decisions up to her, but we do know that the cake will be three-tiered, chocolate and vanilla, with ivory butter cream icing. Each tier of the cake will have two layers, divided by more butter cream icing and crispy meringue. (Mary believes quite strongly that wedding cakes should taste fantastic... we agree!) Beyond that, we know that whatever Mary does to decorate it will be beautiful!!
