Girls Weekend

John is away in London, ON this weekend adjudicating at the music festival there, so this has turned in to a ladies weekend!

My mom and sister-in-law and I went for my first wedding dress fitting last night, and huzzah! It still fits! And it will fit better with a few minor alterations. And I was relieved to see that the shoes I bought some months ago do, in fact, match the colour of the dress. While at the bridal salon, I found a veil that worked nicely with the dress, so I bought it. Mom and I had planned to make the veil, but as the big day gets closer and closer, we figured that having one less thing to worry about might not be a bad idea! The three of us went out for dinner after they were done pinning and tucking, and had a lovely time, just as "grils"!

Sarah and Delilah have big things planned for the rest of the weekend too... well, not really. I might do some clothes shopping this afternoon, but otherwise, when I'm not at choir rehearsal or helping out with a concert at the church, there's some house-cleaning and reorganization on the horizon. Whee! Sarah and Delilah plan to eat and sleep and pull the garbage apart, much like normal.

And we're also, of course, taking some time this afternoon to cheer for the Ottawa Senators. Go Sens!
